If you own an NA Miata 1.6l you should make sure your crank is the updated one first, the keyway is prone to failure on the crank pulley/timing gear. Those engines will hold up to a turbo pretty well being forged internals from the factory. It's the same as the 323 gtx engine basically. If you are not going over 8-10 psi with a properly sized turbo you should be fine if the engine is healthy.

Get yourself on miataturbo.net there are some great FAQ's on there. Its a great engine for boosting, just do it right with a nice kit and you'll be making good reliable power.
I'm in the process of boosting the B6, but in an MX3. Should see around 170hp.
