bought it all totally stock and lame...

the first "mod" was a europlate that i had on my mk2 jetta...

and now today i just placed an order for some coilovers so i should be getting those within the next week and hopefully will be getting them put on shortly after i receive them

then i will need to acquire some rubber for the wheels
dont know if i should do 215/225 or 225/235...any thoughts?

so thats all for now but more to come...

yeah they dont make a 205...the smallest 19inch tire is the 215...pretty sure on that
and im actually going to go get the tires today but im getting 215/35 and 225/35 and i think they will be falkens...

this looks like a sweet setup. damnit i want my new wheels already.

so far so good i suppose lol...i adjusted the dampening to the baseline setting so it can go softer as well as harder...but there is no way to re-adjust with them on the car lol but im happy with this middle setting...

unfortunately i dont think im going to be much help though becasue i have no experence with any other brands for our cars so i dont know what to compare them to...

but for coilovers they are not bouncy and the ride is nice although a bit firm...which is obviously to be expected lol im happy with the way the came out

you have to go another inch I bet. I just sold the B6 that I had it it was lower and I think you'll have to readjust to get what you want. But you can aloways cut and weld the front strut spacers. Rear you have to get cretive.

okkkkk so the wheels are on...well 3 of the 4 lol
apparently the bead was destroyed on the driver side rear while the tire was being mounted...
so im going to have to see what i can do about that tomorrow so for now its 3 MB wheels and a stocker lol
coils have to be adjusted then an alignment is in order
along with a wash and a proper photo shoot

i got a fucking bolt in my new rear tire this morning!!!!!!! just my luck but amazingly there is no air leak after it came out!

Cant wait for summer time for some mods! winter here is brutal on cars so mods will have to wait!

So you haven't touched your fenders at all? I have my trusty eastwood ready and waiting for another job... just picked up some KW V3's and looking at running 19x9.5 +33 or +29 on all four of my B6 S4 Avant... nice to see more people stuffing these things, looking good!

but i have a pretty high offset at +43...i keep talking about buying spacers but still have not done it lol
but when i do im thinking about running either 20 or 15mm up front an 15 or 10mm in the rear...
in which case i may have to ditch the fender liners and may have to do some pulling...we will see

im guessing because the tire was getting low...
i was on a road trip from tallahassee to st pete and all of a sudden just start hearing what ended up being that metal piece smacking my suspension
so i pulled over and the tire was super low on air...not totally flat but just about
so i suppose it was leaking air while i was driving on it and i wore it down...
i had just bumped the psi up to 40 in each tire the day before the road trip...

well i emailed falken and got a fast response:

Mr. Braddock

The wire that you see is part of the bead cable, and has apparently dislocated. This is a warrantable condition, and we would like to send a UPS call tag to pick up the tire at no charge to you so that we can make a more detailed inspection and send the information to our parent company in Japan. We rarely see this type of failure, and want to notify their QA Department.
Please let me know a street address where we can have UPS pick up the tire. They will bring a call tag with them and place it on the tire, then take it.
Also, if you will fax me a copy of your replacement tire invoice), I will make a check request to refund the tire directly.

Question? why do your rear wheels sit so far back in the fender wells, I have the same wheels on my b7 and the gap on either side of the fender is even where as in pictures it looks like yours sitts really far to the rear of your car? Maybe im just crazy? But I gotta know whats up?
