  • E36 M3 Sedan wheel and tire ?

sup guys. im currently an owner of a 97 e36 M3 Sedan.

the wheel and tire size i would like to run is:

    17x9 up front 235/40/17
    17x9.5 in the rear 245/40/17

i have access to a fender roller and have rolled and pulled quite a few fenders (former 240 owner)

my question is what offset will i need to run to be able to run a nice flush (maybe a little tiny bit of poke) setup? my car is factory height right now but will be picking up some coilovers in the near future. my cars not gonna be slammed but pretty low. and i would still like to maintain "hard drivability"

any opinions about the setup im asking of?

    e36 owners chime in!

we need to know offsets bud. widths mean nothing with out offset #'s. a 17x9.5 +8 is with those tires is going to need flares, but a 17x9.5 +60 will a and tuck those.

With those size rims, you are going to need anywhere from +30-40 offset in the front, and would guess a 32-35 in the rear, It all just depends on how low you want to go, and how much you want too roll.. word of advice just look at other owners setup and try to mimic.

If you want more poke, you just start going down in offsets, and flare those fenders!
