Well I figured I would share, in camera phone fashion, my updates in the last couple weeks.
-Shipped the 18ins out :(
-Roof rack
-Fixed front coilover perches
-Picked up future daily driver project
Got a sick deal on a roof rack, 40 bucks. Then purchased a 2000 740il for my future daily driver. It needs some work but in its future is sound system, suspension, and of course wheels.

Ill update this thread once I clean up the 740 and snap some new pictures with a real camera

Great things indeed
I happen to be fortunate enough to pick it up for free from my parents. I told them I would fix it up and they said I could have it.
It hasnt been washed in a year but suprisingly the paint is saveable

Slowest bags EVER
Feelinit18
05-27-2009, 09:54 PM
Could have been that slow on purpose?
How expensive is a kit?
M.Burroughs
05-27-2009, 09:58 PM
they're slow because it's not really a bag system IIRC.
A full setup will cost you several grand.

I feel like that would be a better option since I wont be tracking it.

If you want to spend the money....
Let me know. I know guys who do bag systems for a living. They did all of the cars in the Best of SoWo story on the mainpage.

Those "bags" were more likely an air ride kit.. not quite the same thing.

that was in response to my e28 comment lol.
Dude, if the paint is shit on the 7, you need to bag it and do urban/snow camo vinyl on it.
Oh my god I am a genius.

Lets start with finding some aplina dubs first

While I like Alpina's, I think they are a little played out. You should do something that hasnt been done like slammed with really deep dish wheels and rolled fenders.

You should consider some work meisters. They look good on everything.

One of, if not, my number 1 favorite wheel ever.

I don't know if I'd say favorite, but they sure are nice. I thought about 'em for my 6, but it's just a hair before the right period.

Yea but ive never seen any in person and im not looking to be unique. I just want classy and clean.
I would consider works but I just got my apartment and I want a baller tv/furniture
In time though plus I dunno how much I would like that style on the 7
