Thats an auction though, so it will most likely go up from there... We use Streeter who lives in japan and sends stuff Worldwide.

How much is import for the wheels anyway? Couple hundred?

Depends on the size and weight. If you want them, you email a link of the auction to streeter with your highest bid, and he bids on them for you, if you win, he works out the total price and emails you an invoice. He can give you a rough idea on what shipping would be but without the wheels he cant put an exact figure on it.

To be honest I have no idea what some of them are... LOL. The obvious ones like the impuls and the Blitz wheels are obvious.. but yeah.. Those last 5 spokes I put up I have no idea, but they look fucking badass...

I go through the size categories, then search stud patterns and wheel widths... hence why these are all 16"s from today lol...

i go wheel size, 4 hole then in search i type 100 for 4x100

dunno if im getting everything i should be

when you choose 4 hole make sure you choose the aftermarket section, not the factory wheel section, also to search 4x100, type 100pcd, not just 100.... When searching widths eg. 8 inch wide, type 8j.

Remember, these prices are auction prices, most usually go up, but in saying that, you can still pick up a set of badass wheels, and have them shipped to your door for < $1200.....

the way i decide whether to buy second hand wheels localy or not is:

the cost to get wheels from Japan to Aus including shipping commission and etc and what not is around $600-700 for a 17" set of wheels at an estimate of 12kg per wheel

If price of wheel + shipping is $500 or more less then local price i will buy them

otherwise if i find something i've never seen in Aus at all, i'll spend more money on them

Well i don't know how he usually works, but when i went through him, he asked for the money first so that then he can put in the bid. Then if you win, he sends whatever money was left over (if winning bid was lower than your highest bid) or sends all the money back if bid doesn't win.

I wouldn't think that he would put in bids for you if you haven't already givin him the money to bid with. What if he bids, then wins and then you bail. With his method, it means you are serious about it and arn't going to bail and leave him hanging. At least thats how I looked at it.
