I have a question for you s14 guys that I posted in the wheel/stretch section but no one saw it yet.

A friend of mine is in need of help to stance his 95 LE 240sx. He just bought wheels that are 17x8f, 17x9r both with an et30. The fronts came with a 225/45 and the rears have 245/40.

Oh and I think he said regular offset of the car is et42.

Now will these sizes fit his car as is or would he need to run smaller tires. I think he should run 215/40 all around since those are safe sizes that usually always work but what are your opinions.

Thanks

Stance Primo 4 life

Thanks for the kind words, everyone.

Dont know if it will clear suspension in the rear with a 9 +30 in the rear. Im assuming he's on coilovers? They should work, but they wont be flush, or stretched

Yeah hell be on coils soon. He just didnt know if those tires would work. What should he use for a slammed/stretched combo?

On these wheel sizes I would go with 205/40 in the front on the 8s and 215/40 in the rear on the 9s, should give him a nice stretch.

my wheels are cheap-o hotwheels. Good sizes, look alright. I drive my car a shitload and they have held up fine. One day Ill get something pimp

id prob do a 215/45 on the 8 and 235/40 on the 9.

you cant stretch much on an 8 IMO. If you at least want enough tire to feel good on. The feddy 235/40s on my 9s are almost balloony but feds run wide as im sure some of you know. I dont really want anything less than a 235/40. If I want more poke I'd buy wider wheels and still run 235's.

A 235/40 on a 9.5 +15 is a nice size for stock metal. drivable and fit nice. I want to do a 17x10 235/40 when i step my wheel game up
