  • Racelands anyone?

Just found out about a brand called coilovers called RaceLand.

Heard that they are better than Godspeeds and Megan streets.

    Any personal experience?

If I get them, they will be a temp addition to the car until I can afford something better.

really depends on the car, they get low but the ride quality is really not that great and as far as durability goes you have them for 2 years tops. I've found that in the coil-over world you get what you pay for.

              Stance does.

I just joined too, and I thought this was called "Stance Works" not "look how much I spent on my wheels compared to yours"

If you did not mention that they were XXR's you would not have so many ****** posting here b/c they look so good.

              May I suggest this?

Guess I wont be a 100% dick I'll give a little advice. I have Megan Street coilovers and love them. I think I've put over 10k miles on them with 0 issues.

My girls civic has them. They aren't bad but definitely aren't the best. They ride amazing for about a month. Then they start to soften up. Still plenty decent for just getting low on a budget.

I have them on my E36. No problems, and I have a few customers that have them too. 1 of which has just cleared 40k on an E36 and never had a problem with them.

                            Purchasing Raceland coilvers. 369 Dollars
Getting low and cracking the occasional E36 Lip. 45 Dollars
Totaling your car in a few years because your coil blows, shoots up through your fender, veers you off the road and into a wall. Priceless.

So, despite where this thread is headed, I recently became aware that Raceland will be making the "ultimo" coilover kit for the e36. Is anyone on ultimos for a vw? Does all this raceland-****** apply to their ultimos as well?
