Hi there you guys. Decided I will start a thread about my car. It was in bad shape. Leather en very bad condition, but the engine was in superb condition.
I bought it 3 years ago and this is how it looked like:

The first year I drove it about 3000 km in a month and I loved it. I felt so free. Went on the first e31 meeting in Poland and meet some nice people whom I am still friends with. The e31 community is great

After the first summer it was time to fix that beauty and I started with getting all the fluids replaced and the the engine running 100%. Also got some new leather and brakes:

The car ran good so I just drove through the summer and always with a grin on my face. Loved driving it.
The I was always looking for some parts for the car and bought a new radio, new exhaust, new steering wheel and some other stuff.

This is how the car looks today. There is still much work needed to be done, but I am going in the right direction.

Those are 3 piece Hamann motorsport 18"
The front is 9" wide and the rear 11"

Welcome, absolutely love the car.

What car did the wheel in the front originally come on? I've seen them before but haven't been able to tell what they are called.

My car came originally on throwing stars reading the VIN, but I got them on the RH x-rad. on the photo I am on a spare. I was 700 km from home and blew a tire. I was sceptical driving on the spare. It was still the original one from the factory

Oh soooo nice. I drive by a guy's house on the way to school everyday who has an 850CSi. It had a blown motor, so he just recently picked up a 750 to transplant the motor from what I can tell. I need to stop by and say hi to him some time, because these cars are just so rare and amazing. Truly one of BMW's more unique autos.

Yeah. Those are Hamann Motorsports 3 piece 18" wheels
9 on the front and 11 on the rear

The one I have, Its a schnitzer 3 spoke very rare steering wheel or the Hartge one

e31 850 csi dont have the same calipers as the e32 750(il) yhe have diferent bmw part number's

That Schnitzer wheel looks awesome! The bodylines of the 8series are so perfect. Even in the interior, its just a mean looking vehicle. props to you sir

You are saying he will be swapping the csi motor with a m70? What a waist of CSI. Maybe he wants to sell the CSI motor?

Nah, I meant he was taking the M70 out of the 750 to put in the 850. Which sucks because it still isn't the S70, but I guess he couldn't find a replacement S70...

I really need to stop by some time and talk to the dude.

Yesterday took the car our for a spin. It looks badass with the distances. Still dont know what that klicking sound was. Took them off and no sound.

Then I decided to take the cabin filters out and take a look. When I saw them my glasses almost fell of my nose. Holy smokes. this needs to be replaced.

Took the car for a spin and was pretty nice except the white smoke which I think is just water. Also parked the car and when I came back my one cap for the jack on the rear left side was missing. What a fkn day. Does the cap fit from another bmw?

A lot of e31 owners get freaked out thinking its a head gasket....but its just condensation in the fuel tank. You can use fuel tank drying stuff if it gets annoying. :stickoutt

smoke from something burning or condensation expelled thru the vents?
odorless? sweet? burning smell?
when do u notice it most?
how long does it last?

If theres no smell, then its just condensation being introduced into a dry car interior= smoke. :stickoutt

FUCK YEAH! i always loved the 850s!!! 850 body styling was soooo on-point in the 90's. still a beautiful car, especially in this day and time when BMW's styling just seem to get uglier and uglier and fucking uglier.

the fact that some 850's were offered with a V12 still blows me away.

I was taking the wheels off the car the other day and was looking at the springs. Found out I have the H&R and that suprised me. Dont know on the other hand about the rear because it is so high and I have heard that the rear is very soft on the H&R springs
