BC Coilover help?

Hey, long time looker, first time poster. Anyways, just got a set of BC BR Coilovers for my 08 Mitsu Eclipse GT and need a little advice. I'm fine with the installation, my interest here is in finding advice on how to adjust the height, while maintaing a good ride. My problem is that this is my first adjustable suspension setup and the instructions from BC were complete engrish. My primary concern is getting bounce or sloppy handling, I just don't know what the right way to set the dampening vs. preload, etc. I know this is beginner stuff but I have to start somewhere.

Spin the base thing up all the way on the threads if you want lows + full shock travel, then spin adjusters all the way down.

It's really hard to screw that up, its actually pretty easy if you just hold the coilover in your hand, you can see how it all works...
