1st one- don't have any other beefs than that the handlebar isn't fully in the photo. really nice shot.

2nd- Cars a little dark compared to the background IMO, a little bit a qustion of taste though. Some bits of the car are beautifully lit, play around with it in photoshop some more maybe?

1st- Already been said but the handlebars should be in the picture. Try to find a non conflicting background if possible, and use a larger aperture to separate the bike from the background. Nice pic other than that :alright

2nd- Composition needs a little bit of work, if it was me I probably would have taken a couple steps closer and moved a little bit more behind the car to lessen some of the empty space above and below the car. The car is a little underexposed, dodging can take care of that in photoshop, along with cloning out some stuff such as the exit sign.

looks good to me, maybe a litle **over (edited) exposed, and could give a little tilt to the camera

Travis C

Tis' a nice shot, looks a little bit overexposed to me, at least in most areas. The front end is pretty sharp but gets a little fuzzy towards the back. The only way to fix that is a higher f-stop and/or a faster shutter speed. I don't recommending tilting the camera :stickoutt

Bryan, Brad, both close.

I'm sorry, now I feel like a douche. :(

I sat and thought about it for a second... couldn't decide, and then thought "b-rod, brod, brad... yeah, brad". :D

Haha, its all good. So, weren't a fan of my pro edits? I didn't realize how fubar'd the shadows were until seeing them on a different computer. I have no idea what I'm doing though and thought the colors looked cool.

Shoot later in the day and with the sun at your back. You did neither in that picture. The shadow gives you away and takes a lot away from the car. Plus you have a lot of blown out highlights. Its distracting.

Think composition first, then start to work on sharpening your pictures and making settings adjustments. I have been shooting for 14 months now and composition is still the hardest part, it will ruin a perfectly exposed and sharp as a tack picture. It can also save a picture that may not have either of the latter.

Cool. Thanks. I mainly got bored and just tried with something I had. There are two reasons why I didn't use the passenger side. Wheels were turned the wrong way and I have a molding missing. :D

Pswirley
06-22-2009, 11:16 PM
Thats when you have to say, damn, I need to turn the car around and make sure the wheels are correct.
