  • Just another E24

Guys, Im torn. Torn between two different worlds. Between the Hardcore Restoration snobs of the BMW world. And HMI's (Heavily Modifying Individuals) The car I am starting with breathes an air of class yet still has that gritty quality that breaks necks on city streets. I am by No means worried about pissing off either crowd. I build my car for me, If people like it it's a bonus.

My 1984 BMW 633Csi Was picked up for around a $1,500 In North side Cincinnati. It was owned by a couple of "down on their luck" college kids who Basically only drove it back and forth to Campus. It was In fair shape for being a 27 year old car, and was, as I saw it, a perfectly good starting point for my journey. It was fairly solid mechanically and the body was fairly straight (Although the paint was in a bad way)

However I am now faced with a dilemma, suspension on my car is a little odd, I want it to be as low as possible but still keep its amazing performance in the corners. So as you can see I am faced with the problem Im sure most everyone here has been faced with. One thing is for sure, I am a Newbie. I know literally nothing about air ride and Not a whole lot about coilovers. So please, a little help would be greatly appreciated.

Wrong section to get the right answers, I'm looking into this at the moment and have messaged Mike about his old E24 setup.

If you had looked in the Coilovers section of the forum you would have seen this post on the first page, http://stanceworks.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6095 also this thread helps a bit http://www.stanceworks.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2181

I'll shift this thread over there now, http://bigcoupe.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=15682 may also be of interest, it is the thread I have just started on the owners club.
