Aero II's

i'm curious if someone with aero II's, preferably someone with a mark 5/6 golf/gti can give me some information. i haven't mounted them yet, but i'm planning on running 215/35/18s on stock suspension. i'd like to know if i need hub rings or spacers coming from denvers. i've also head that unless i'm lowered, those tires will screw me over somehow? i've been doing a lot of research but i still don't know much about all things wheel/suspension. any help would be useful. thanks

those tire sizes will work, but will look RETARDED on stock suspension. you need longer ball seat bolts and 66.6 to 57.1 hubcentric rings.

did i mention how bad these wheels and tires will look on stock suspension? :shifty

i'm aware they won't look great - but funds are short right now so i can't air it out. thanks for the help - but what about spacers? are they necessary for anything other than aesthetics?
