Completely new to the site and wanted to see about lowering my volvo 240. I'm starting out with cutting springs, which gets me to the right height, but now I'm trying to get a bit more poke. Any Ideas? I'm already running adaprers which took out my wheels (ITN 155's off a mercedes E320) about an inch. Any Ideas? Pics?

i don't know if you'll get too much help on here. Not too many lowvos on this site Best bet is to try volvospeed.com.

turbobricks.com. So much more info on there for 240's.
Glad more people are realizing the potential for volvos.

I'm in the same boat as you. Going to cut a few coils to get a good height but coilovers are what's going to be the goal.

These are the guys I'm going to go with--> http://www.kaplhenke.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=33&Itemid=33

Cialis (TADALAFIL) is an oral drug, used for treating male impotence, also known as erectile men's erectile dysfunction. Clinical studies show that Cialis works faster, lasts up to 36 hours and has less side effects than Viagra.

I cut 2 coils all the way around. Looks good in the back with "17's, I think another 1/2 of a coil would be great in the front. I'll post pics tomorrow.

If you wanna get low on these cars you gotta do short strut inserts in the front. People use inserts from 95ish saab 900s and they are like 2 1/2" shorter, then you just shorten your housings. I have Koni motorsport struts on mine they are 3" shorter than stock and I can rest subframe on the ground.
Glad more people gettin into Volvos, I love em.
