here's the original and the edit i did to give it more of a throwback old photo without using the standard stuff in lightroom 2. any tips, thoughts, anything would be cool. I'll just let the photo's talk now......

yeah just do bw and some added contrast and maybe curve work. Also, if you're going to sharpen the image, only sharpen the car.

I like it, but i think its taken a bit far for me. What about a little color, less noise?

This would be passable if the car were white balanced.

None of them look nearly as good as the first.
I don't mind the added noise in the one because of you trying to accomplish a vintage b&w look, but the whites are way overblown and the shadows at the bottom of the car are too dark.
Stick with the original IMO.

its all good comments, i could care less if you all told me it was shit, if thats your opinion its your opinion. But thanks for the input, I'll do another edit while i watch the florida game here in a sec.
And for those asking about background size, which one? the original i'm assuming?

I think the edit would look really really good if it wasn't of a modern car, like if it was of a vintage or even 80's early 90's. The new GT40 looks really modern, hard to pull off a nice old style look. My 2 cents
