Fact: Rolling hard will always contain some variant of suckitude.
Today’s victim: the Fluid VIP machine, Marilynn’s M45. Not too long ago, during the whole holy-crap-we’ve-got-two-days-until-MFest fervor, a tow truck arrived late at night, carrying the M45. Apparently, a parking mishap led to a few things going, well, terribly wrong. The bottom of the lip was scraped to high heaven:

A turn had been taken too quickly and the wheels decided they wanted to get very close and affectionate with the fenders:

All four wheels were pretty deeply scraped, about a week after we had the barrels fixed and polished up:

The rear of the exhaust had ended up flattening itself out:

Once you get under the M45, the carnage continues. The road had pushed the driver’s side of the exhaust so hard, that it compacted the flex pipe…

…And completely sheared off the exhaust piping from the megaphone:

The cutouts managed to take the brunt of the force, as evidenced by this bolt, only 75% of which managed to survive:

And going back to the tailpipes, the force of the ground put some deep scrapes into this part, as well:

In short, there’s some work to be done. It’s being taken care of, but in the grand scheme of things, that which is made of metal can be rebuilt. It sucks to roll hard, and we’re good proof of that.
