Hi!

So, my gf want to do something to her car, as the thread headline says its a 01 golf.
Not looking for anything extreme here since its going to be a daily and we live in norway with rough roads.

Thinking of 2-2,5" drop.
What wheels could fit without any problems? may roll fenders if needed, but thats it :)
She wants to have a perfect daily stance ;)

Thanks!

Allready found some coilovers thats within her budget.

When it comes to the wheels, i dunno whats out there in 17x8 with a decent offset to make it flush on a golf.
And as mentioned, its going to be on a budget :)

Something like this (the stance i mean) :

Found out that the golf i posted had 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 with a 3" drop.
Perfect daily stance!

Anything like that possible to get on a budget?

Perfect daily stance for you or for her? Your definitions of a perfect stance might be off a bit. Just sayin', consult with the chick on these lol

Seems like that low on crappy Norwegian roads might be a little much for a daily grocery getter for someone that might be into going over speed bumps faster than a snail's pace.

A perfect stance for her, and i dont know if you have seen my civic yet? that low would be a problem for her, it scrapes on speedbumps and other dumb shit we got over here but still drivable.

18x.8,5" on a 2-3" drop would be perfect for here, thats not to low for a "Norwegian standard" lol :stickoutt
So any suggestion on wheels are welcome, as long its not any $1500 wheels. The shipping alone to Norway is like $350! atleast thats for 15x9's i'm getting for my ride.
