I am curious as to what in YOUR opinion are the best coilovers for an 1980 e21? I am new to bmw just came from low honda, and am having a hard time.

I know this thread is old but I with you on this I new to lowering period but I want to by coilovers for my e21. -

Im sure you could run a custom setup as most e30 owners do. Do some searching around the web and see if you can come up with anything

I know Ground Control makes a fully adjustable set as well as their cut and weld kitComment

the ground control setup is good, leda's often develop a leak, you can do anything custom with a scirocco strut insert in the front, GAZ has a nice street setup for about $800 and a fully adjustable set for about $1200, but they need your spindles and are in Europe. Factory replacement bilsteins are 3-position adjustable perches in the rearComment
