So the time has come for us to once again gather and share out prides and joys. This time I will be posting it on a couple of forums and making it open to a lot more people, but in saying that the location will be kept to PM's, a week before the date.

All you need to know for now, Ill update this thread when more details become available.

UPDATE:

There will be museek on the day, and SW stickers available for gold coin donation as Im broke atm :)

I've decided, rather then publicly announce it on other forums, I am going to leave it up to the members on here to scout out and invite people from the various scenes/communities that you are also a part of. A lot of people seem to frown upon the secretive-ness of Stanceworks meets, but last years meet was a great turnout and an awesome crowd, And I would preffer to keep the same atmosphere, where everyone knows someone and people interact with each other.

What will happen is everyone on here jumps on the lis which will be started on page 3, and the list will be updated up untill one week out from the event, 1 week before, the invite with the location details will be PM'd yo all of you, and you can then pass it on to as many people as you see fit, that have a passion for stance etc. If you're on a forum and know the owner of a badass car, Send it to them.

Enough people know about StanceWorks now, and if they are actually interested in coming to these events, they would be reading this post anyways.

UPDATE:

Due to unforseen circumstances the location I had lined up has fallen through, And due to this, It looks like we will have to wait a little longer to get together. Sorry guys, Im trying my hardest to get something sorted so that I can let you all know when and where it will be 100%. At the moment, its looking like it wont be till June sometime :(

That FYS (Front yard special) was a huge meet and I do agree some very cool stanced cars.

I do agree thought that we dont want wankers and no-hopes rocking up. There is some pretty stanced out MX5's, s13 and corolla's rolling around Melbourne.

You are really a dickhead mate if you bother to read certain vicroad documents the exemption forms in particular, you will find a certain paragraph on there that enables you to pretty much drive whatever car you like. The only catch is that it has to be registered as a company vehicle (so it belongs to the company) and you are an employee of this company and this is the car they have "given" you. Cops cant get into the particulars of the business what it does blah blah blah its none of their business except for the fact that it is a company car and this is what they gave me. Now if your dad has a business of his own :eyebrows (p-plater circumstance) and he trusts you with the "company's" Merc that is registered under the business then you are fine. There is also a couple of other things you have to follow but i will let you read up on it since your so confused and didnt do your homework when you wanted a quicker car on you p's.

Also if i was a cop you reckon i would be trained a little better to hide the fact i was a cop and not burn myself straight away and loose a forum connection you idiot.

This is why rather then just throw the meet together after the first location fell through, I would rather postpone the meet. Any Proper meet that I organise will be on private property for that reason. Rather then have 5-0 instantly rock up at the meets, I am trying to keep it out of the public eye.

Another reason I wont post the location online. When the time comes that I do hand out the location, If someone were to publicly post it, well there isnt a great deal I can do, But Ill still be there on the day and time I say I will. A defect isnt going to stop me from doing what I love, and they cant kick us off a property that the owners have given us permission to be on.

any way my point being, my brother bought a brand new mitsubishi evo 8 for 70k on road and then dropped another 30k on mods when he was a p plater, he coped the exact same shit this guy is getting now and countlessly got harassed by police asking him how he could afford the car at his age. simple, he fucking worked for it and bought it with his hard earned money. not every one is born rich or is a drug dealer, some work hard for there belongings. i too know this being 23 and on my 13th car.


any way, back to the topic. i have a private car park available on sundays/some saturdays if ox would like to use it for our meet. will host at least 50-60 cars and owner is willing to let us use it as long as we dont fuck it up/leave a massive mess behind.

Somehow I dont see an FYS style meet happening, Like I said, Im going to be there, I dont care who rocks up. Ill have security there, Ill be there. oxer, this is the car park highlighted in red. on a sunday it will be completely empty of all pallets/trucks/cars and will host over 100 cars pretty easily.

1st entrance out of the 3 is mostlikely the best. allthough my car at its lowest could still get up the others but it would scrape. there are speed bumps but they are short so you can just go around them with out having to go over them.

i have blacked/cut out all things pointing to the address/location and if you do reconise the place please dont be a shit head and keep it a secret untill ox announces it in the pm's.
