The Porsche needed a little extra help in adjusting its stance. So we made some control arms for it.

After we finished installing the STANCE coilovers on our 997 Porsche Carrera Cabriolet, we realized we couldn’t get the camber exactly where we wanted it. It would be close, but still off by fractions of a degree. In order to remedy that, we sourced some parts from a reliable parts source and went about constructing our own version, which you can see below:

With the arms welded and ready for install, we put on a couple coats of black paint to keep the iron oxide from finding a new home in the Porsche:

This brings us one step closer to finally having the Porsche’s suspension ready for the utmost of fine-tuning. Once that’s completed, it’s time for a trip outside, where we will photograph it in all its lowered glory. Stancing out a 997 isn’t exactly a daily thing for anybody, so we’re all excited to see the end result. Stay tuned for the final chapter!

Is one side reverse threaded? How are you going to adjust them? I don't see any flat spots for wrenches to go.

One side is reverse threaded, yes.
