There's not any stance in this thread, just some low. :stickoutt Anyways, this is just a timeline of my car from when I bought it to now. Someday there will be some stance in this thread, but I had to spend my money that I was saving for wheels on fixing my blown headgasket. :mad:mad In case anyone was wondering about my username, it's the nickname that a friend of mine gave to my car. Anyways, onto the pictures:

I machined myself a new wiper delete and some half strut caps to get rid of the ugly stock ones that stuck up about an inch over the strut towers.

Great looking MK3. It looks 10x better lowered with the Jetta front end. Really looking forward to the rest of this build.

Exactly. It would be painted or vinyl wrapped if I had money, but school + a part-time job = no money. :(

great work dude.
how much would you be willing to part ways with your old front end for?
we have the same grill and same idea on our turns/fogs. why did you remove your fog covers?

I only have the badgeless grill left from the front end and it's bent a little. The driver's headlight was messed up, so I threw both headlights away and the hood is partially sanded down and now rusting :devillook What fog covers are you talking about though? I haven't done anything to my foglights at all.

Lookin good. I like mk3 but the reliability of vw scares me away from one. Paint the stockers white for now would look good to me

Unfortunately I didn't do it properly, because I don't have a welder and it was cheaper than $50 per side to buy washer nozzles to fill the holes. :D

Ohh, i guess I just had mine blacked out for so long that I forgot what it looked like to have them on!
also, you never answered my question about the Mk4 intake setup... :D

Sorry, I didn't see that question before. :stickoutt But, yes I did. However, I've been told the fuel rail I bought was actually a MK3 one even though the auction was for an MK4 one. It holds the MK4 injectors fine though, so I'm not really sure. I got the car running last weekend, first it sprayed fuel everywhere, then I came home from a 3 day vacation only to find a coolant leak that wasn't there before. I love this car... :shifty And, here's an open header start up video :eyebrows

This car looked mint in PVW.
Oh wait, that never happened.
Lose the sticker.

The car is nice, though.

Yeah, I did, but you don't have to. Everythings pretty easy, but there's some stuff that you'll have to come up with fixes for. I suggest re-locating the battery if you can. I didn't, but it would've made the intake set up a LOT easier.

Yeah, let me get right on that. It's a sticker. Get over it. :shifty

Most recent picture. I just got some new 185/60/R14 Dunlop Direzza Star Specs , because I had bald tires all the way around. Unfortunately, I didn't have enough to buy wheels, so still on the stockers. :shifty I also installed some fully adjustable CXracing coilovers, so it rides way better than on my old FKs. Hopefully more updates will be coming soon. :eyebrows
