Sold my M5 a while back and decided to look something new to mod.
I got a bit bored with the old one when it got to the point where I wanted.. not much fun just changing a small bit there and there.
So I bought a 2004 stock M3 from Germany.. I don't really like black cars but hey the car chose me.

Test fitted the rear wheel today and looks like it needs some work :rofl
I was using 305/30/19 just for test purposes, should be very doable with 275 or 285 and some fender mods. It's fun to play around with this stuff :)

Went with the most aggressive offsets on the LM's. Front is 9.5 et32. I was a bit worried when test fitting:

So I decided to look one of the narrowest tyres. I've had previous experiences with Toyo T1R and Falken FK452 with varied results so I went with Hankook S1 evo. Front 235/35, rear 275/30.

Holy hell.. I've pretty much forgotten about updating this.

So let's see..

Let me start by saying I'm one individual who knows nothing about electrical systems and just plain HATES wiring. I **** wire taps and odd wires running through engine bay. I've read a few DIY's about angel eyes installs and drawn the conclusion that it's not for me.

But after I was venting out my fustration on the forum I was contacted by umnitza representative who told me he might be able to help.

Fast forward a couple of weeks and an Umnitza Orion V2 box with t10 custom harness appears in the mail.

I acknowledge myself not to be the easiest customer, one that knows what he wants. I wanted a harness that would not require wire taps or kilometer long wirings to be run through engine bay.. something I could handle. The euro E46 has a park light with W5W bulb in the inner housing and in my mind utilizing that would be the ideal solution. Plug it straight into the euro park light and remain all it's oem functions. I was also very clear that I didn't want any check control issues with burn out lights etc.

I didn't really feel like going the CSL look route since it seems to be the default thing everyone does so I picked up a set of original AC Schnitzer parts. The front lip I managed to find second hand since I was quoted 1800euros for it new.

Well I did receive the diffuser finally after a long wait.

I would have bought the OEM CSL diffuser which would've been a bit cheaper but decided to get a full carbon one with good fitment.
This is a 1x1 clear coated version that is 100% to OEM CSL specs (tabs, ridge etc) Very happy with the fitment which is like an oem part. Even thought it's not painted it blends nicely with the carbon schwarz and doesn't jump out without closer inspection.

Next up looking to tackle the suspension. The front is maxed out atm. Will perhaps be swapping to KW clubsports or custom setup to get more low and still be able have a good handling.

Such a beautiful car, ive found it to be a common problem on these bmw's and the shape before where they litterally tear the subframe from the car if they've been driven quite hard, so atleast you got there before it got worse :)
