Okay, just spent 30minutes searching around and the weekend after is GTI Springfest at Pod.. so best not do that one, and any earlier is a bit too soon so here it is, MK seemed nice and central but moved to the Dons stadium. Will look into other locations over the summer though.

Skim read to fuck. But surely it doesn't matter what show is on, having the meet the same weekend as any show will be detrimental to the meet/turnout. Let alone two shows.

Surely April 10th sounds better? Plus you dont want the appeal of the meet to be watered down by having it monthly. Surely bi/tri monthly will keep the appeal? Specially for people travelling furthest.

But once it gets to 10th April - the next one after would be June/July time, when its middle of show season, or people are more likely to be busy with holidays.

Date is fine as it is, only a select number of people are at Fast Show or going to Belgium, just happens they are the regulars on here. There are over 50 confirmed on Facebook, and a list on here nearly as big as the last one already, and after the last meets real good turn out it has caught the attention of more people, its just a meet at the end of the day, there will be more, could be only 10 people turn out and it would still be a decent meet still. Sorry.

I'll be there and hopefully will talk a few others into coming. I think now people have seen the relative success of the last meet they'll be more inclined to travel for this.

Might even get my stance sorted withnew wheels for this. Just need a set of custom pcd adapters and about £70 worth of hardware first.

Bournemouth is sound so good, it's a very easy drive and i know it pretty well due to having family live there. In summer you wouldn't get hasseled for a bbq on the beach as long as it's more sandbanks way than main bournemouth / you can get beach slots where you can park infront of the sand... I like this idea. alot.

This is true, I just have memories of the beach's down in cornwall where the sands damp, and so real solid, and you can get on and park up and chill without any problem.

I can either tuck at the height I'm at, buy thinner spacers and grind arches, raise car slightly, grind arches and fit 15mm spacers.

Hopefully the last option with no raising of the car instead fit new coils and stiffen them right up.

I always wanted a Mk1, but more people are buying them now and to be honest I am starting to think they look a little dated. They need another 5 years before coming classic again in my eyes.

Whereas a mk2 is that little newer, hopefully get a 6 speed, and roof down laying frame looks so sweet. The curves do it for me.
