Nice little KA2 Collection, in Mint Green, up for 695, paid £550, little bit rusty, 12 months MOT, 2000 W, 71k, 1 month tax, working AC, electric windows, cd player, rear wiper.

Need to give it a full service (oil, oil filter, air filter, plugs, maybe fuel filter, new wipers), change a top mount, one of the suspension bushes and see what is making a slight rattle, minus the bodywork that'll get done for £75-100 at VERY most, will polish it up this weekend giving it a scrub.

Bodywork probably needs £200 spent on it, may need some welding up front but it passed its MOT, rear petrol cap has rust, scrape down the N/S that is rusted also. Looked at a couple and this was by far the cleanest.

Worst start to the morning.

In the car to college get to around the Stirling area and the road we usually take is blocked because of flooding. So we take another route, which ends up also being closed due to floods. Finally we get onto the motorway and make it to Glasgow an hour and a bit later than usual. Resulting in me getting to college 20mins late.

So, i get into class and my tutor starts to have a go at me for being late. I kinda flipped out and told him that i live 70 miles away and being 20 minutes late isn't that bad, considering i'm always the first person to get to class every single morning. That fairly shut him up. Prick.

I see what you mean now, in real life you're bolting the same inner on the hub and the lip size should extend outwards and although the offset changes the position doesn't only the outer :confused

Worked out that from the original offset and sizes, the face extends back 20.8mm.

From that, the offsets on a 17x11 wheel = ET-8.1mm

I personally wouldn't run stretch for winter tyres as you want as much surface area for traction, i'v got some crazy slim 6.5J rims for winter with balloon tyres... they look pants! haha

Its surprising how much a garage can hold the temperature in this weather. Ive been in mine most nights now working on my land rover and its just timber clad with congrete floor, shut the door and two bodys can keep it comfortable if you keep moving. We have a space heater and thats just insane, 5 mins with that on and its just too hot!

So the header tank was empty and if the mechanic did check it like he say he did, he didnt say to Josh it was empty?

Header tank? Not that up with motor stuff but from what I understood he thought the expansion tank was leaking, it was and the guy never told him/checked it, Josh drove it and it was overheating, took it back and they denied responsibility, took it somewhere else and the head gasket was gone, they did the carbon test thing and it had exhaust fumes in the water...or summin along those lines

all in all, gay as it was looking sweet on the 95's and now is back off the road again
