I've scrubbed the boot and interior today. Well, I started. The rains fucking me off still. Found its REALLY damp under the carpets so its gonna be a seats out job to try dry it out asap. Probably tomorrow if the weathers looking good, only 4 bolts on the seats then a couple on the centre console I think.

Yeah pulled over on the m23 then he told me to follow him down to the vosa tester cunt further down so they could inspect it. I was saying to the vosa guy that it's real hard to find the actual laws on how the wheels are allowed to sit and told him all I could find is that the tyre must not protrude past the fender, which is how mine is, he told me it's any moving part and it's written in the motoring laws of construction or something. How the hell is any normal person supposed to find that :confused They were pretty sweet though, didn't say anything about not having a number plate

Plus the downpipe gave way on the Audi on friday, so was underneath it most of Saturday to try and make it sound less of council estate cruiser.

I'm in so little money at the moment its not even funny. Though now I have some srs motorsport engineering and design student support behind me. I'm itching to do SOMETHING ANYTHING but bashing my head against the wall of the bank.
Starting up a new UK-based blogwithatwist for the custom scene, be it hotrods, stance, rat, whatever. That'll get me out there and forced to do something sexy with her, making connections etc etc.

..I bought a new door the other week? Its blue? I can rock it rat for a bit, but not feeling it really. Needs a full respray in satin white.

Boyfriend's corsa is coming along well. We've reduced the boy-racery feel of it, stripped the inside, 2.0 is almost in but we're waiting on an ignition STILL. The alloys are buckled to hell so its finding some steelies to band for now. Then its onto fitment. I think I've converted him... Here's a detail shot;

I can do the back no problems, its the front I'm most worried about. Its not like the front wheels are prone to falling off when the suspension isn't right or anything..

Honestly if I had endless money to spend on that thing she'd be on hydraulics, satin white, rust free, skid plates underneath for protection, disc brakes all round, a fiat twin cam or perhaps a flathead v8, sunvisor, banded steelies so she could keep her original wheels, though I'd probably have some wire wheels for days when it felt right. I'd consider a roof chop but its not hugely appealing to me at the moment.

Ratmog - what's wrong with adjusting the torsion bars for now then if you need you can do some other set up later. I'm sure if your ball joints etc are in good nick you won't loose a wheel... That theory is probably because knobs are running 30 year old rusted up shit

neither of these photographs justify the horrifying angle of this hill, which i now officially live half way up. if that little blue polo can make it up with its ass on the floor, i sure hell can get mine under my car and work out how to do those torsion bars.. the wheels falling off is more to do with the greasing and how it turns into a grinding paste and causes the threads to wear off, hence wheel/hub coming out.
