hey guys
i know im the outcast in this forum since im a honda owner,lol
but heres my lastest build/project
my car has been through many different looks/style for the past year and just when i get it to where i wanted it, i had an itch to do something different and new to the prelude community so i started a RHD build
heres some progress i made so far
Note** i only have 1-2days to work on this a week with 2-3 hrs. ( school gets in the way... and yes im still in school, and school as in High school. the prelude was my first car.

Nice! I love the red type s interior! They look fockin crazy... What are the inserts you're running? I know of the carbon and wood grain, carbon deff wins for me. We have two of those interiors down here in the factory, I was contemplating buying a bb6 just to put the interior in :rofl

today after class i spent 3 hrs and stripped the RHD clip
just need to take out the rack and pinion and im ready to drill out the firewall :D

well i had no school today so i planned on working all day but i forget i dont have the drill bits to start drilling out the firewall so i had to stop.. had only 1hr to work :(
but i got alot done in that time
got the steering column, rack and pinion, subframe with LCA< sway bar, and tie-rods

well it is alot of work... but its not hard stuff, just simple stuff
its just that theres alot of it you gotta do,lol
the only hard part of the whole build is the firewall swap then everything else is just putting together a puzzle

* The motor is going to be pulled out on tuesday!, and im going to strip the Lude completly so i can do the Firewall swap on saturday and sunday!

Its been raining here in VA for the past 6 days and yesterday and today was BEAUTIFUL so i had to get my ass to pull the motor out.
started today at 5 pm i got to work on pulling the motor
and instead of using a lift we pulled it out the oldschool way by just pulling it from the bottom....,lol
i finished pulling the motor at 8PM :D

my dumbass forgot to rent a tie-rod separtator this morning so i didnt get to take the rack and pinion and subframe out... but other than that its ready for the Firewall SWAP :D

RHD conversions add around 80 to 100hp bc the drivers on the other side.

it just adds to the JDM factor
+ shows the amount of work done to the car

im flat out broke as of now, i got maybe 200bucks left in my account and i gotta safe that for food, and new brake,clutch and fuel lines, along with all fluids,lol
but im gonna start working again around may so i'll see how much i can save up till IA, cuz thats an exspensive trip,

** Small update...
well i was supposed to start putting the car back this week
but i decided to Paint the engine bay.
so today at my friends shop i just stripped the engine bay completely
so i can start prepping it for paint.

** Little update
Well i started yesterday night by cleaning the engine bay
heres what it looked before

well the car is still silver
im just switchin up the pearl to Green, it was Purple before and i got tired of it
and i really havnt seen any Green pearl on a silver car so im gonna take the hit and try it out

Little Update
we finished Painting the engine bay on Saturday morning at 6am
The paint with the pearl came out VERY interesting.
you'll seee the factory Nordicmist in some angles then when a light hits it changes colors and you'll see some green pearl, also when u change the angle of where your looking at the car it'll change, it has a hint of purple and green when it changes colors. the pics really cant show what the paint is, but in person people were going crazy with the paint,lol

I dont know if your school has senior project but i went to Wakefield in Arlington and my senior project was to rebuild a H22 for my CB7. If i was to do what you did I would've had the best project and my auto tech teacher would send me to a dealership to work at hahah.

Red was released only in japan I believe... I am sitting on two red complete interiors atm, fresh from japan. Just need a car to put one in haha..

yeahh the SIR's only came with the woodgrain, i also have the center piece in woodgrain but i swapped it out, just need to find the doors

You don't. You use common sense and leave it the way it was intended to drive on North American roads.

This build is great but I don't get the waste of time and money put into something to make it less useful and dangerous. Had I been able to afford swapping my Skyline to LHD I would have done it in a second.

well i wanted something different.
you dont really see any RHD 5th gen Preludes out there, i only know of 1 other 5th gen thats RHD. and i really didnt spend much on this build so, i think it was worth it

i used Purple Power then used a wire brush on a drill to clean it up
then sprayed it
