Thanks! And yes I'm re-covering parts of the harness that will be exposed so it looks more pleasing and clean to the eyes. Its something a friend taught me and I ran with it.
However thats only part of what I'm doing.
The process goes something as follows:
Open up the original harness and strip/cut anything that isn't needed/wanted.
Make the exposed wires of the harness pretty, just like I'm doing.
Reroute and test fit around motor.
Make adjustments if necessary.
Finalize.
Wrap the rest of the harness.
Solder wires back to ecu and chassis plugs.

Sounds frustrating, but I **** any kind of electrical work. I've been trying to figure out the headlight wiring on my dads Porsche for forever.

I wouldn't say tuck, but more like a way cleaner look than factory haha. Definitely not tucked.
Here's a pic of the engine bay.

Update. Pretty much done with the majority that needed the sleeving. Going to start on extending a couple of wires and call it a night.

You can buy it in different sizes. Also widely used to "beautify" wires in car audio.

^Yea thats pretty much what I used, but I buy these packs that come in different sizes and its more than plenty for engine harnesses.

Props man. Wiring is something that I never want to have to touch, but if I follow through with my plans I do want to tuck my engine bay. Looking good so far though. Make sure to keep us updated.

Here at work we use that sleeving as well. Typically we just shrinkwrap the whole length though. I want to convert my car over to a single MilSpec connector.
Very nice work
