See if you can track a standard cat back system off an m3. Good gains over a 328 system and should be reasonablely cheapOriginally posted by Aubrey107I don't know who you are. well i bought a magnaflow 2 in 2 out muffler and had an exhaust shop weld it up and install 2.25" pipiing from the cats to the muffler and it sounds like absolute shit. its the most raspy crackly high pitched exhaust. so im just gonna throw the stock stuff back on and enjoy the silence.

While your old one is off, remove the butterfly in one of the pipes. That will give you that nice BMW noise which you are after.Originally posted by Aubrey107I don't know who you are. My friend had a 325is, took it to a shop and had a straight pipe welded from his down pipe to the muffler straight back, cut off his o2 sensors in the process. Sounded great. I am iffy on doin a muffler delete because of the police and large fine to go with it when I get pulled over.
