..or whatever the heck they're called.
So, anyone tried riding on only the helper springs?
Just out of curiosity, how does it ride?
This would be one way to get a car slammed, without chopping the coils. :o

Helper springs have next to no spring rate and are meant to be easily compressed by the weight of the car. Not to mention that if you're only using your helper springs you've probably bottomed out the struts.....so I'd imagine it'd ride like absolute garbage.

Their sole purpose is to keep the real spring seated when at full droop.

Didn't someone on here do this? One of these old 70ies japanese land yachts, IIRC.

if you really want short springs, 326 power sells like 3" ones haha (at least that's what they look like on their minkara) but in totally ridiculous spring rates (think 60kg/mm)

swift springs go down to 4"

Oh, nonono I didn't ask this because I would do it. Was just general speculation on wether this would work or not. :P

Nice Laurel and good candidate for a yankee style build. Glad to see he's opting for bag-overs.

Running no springs is apparently 'often' done by boso, but it's a really bad idea.

Hmm.. If I do pick that Nissan March/Micra up, I'll have to try no springs.
Form > Function, right? :rofl
