Well I figured it was fitting to post a bit of a build thread, gives me a chance to show off what i've blown money on :rofl
Started with the car, a 1990 325is, had for about 1.5 years and put 60,000km's on it in that time. now sits at 501,000kms. Yes, no extra digits there over 500k.
So for that reason you can see why I'm not to concerned about spending alot of money on it to make it really clean, its just not worth it. It runs great, thanks to a motor I put in last summer, drives ok, no thanks to being dumped, and has all the comforts I need.
Its seen some different looks.
Last summer:

http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee305/dutchy_623/5-1.jpg
This spring:

Right now:
http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee305/dutchy_623/1-4.jpg
I picked up some RM's and GC's for a bargain:
http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee305/dutchy_623/2-3.jpg
Then I went to europe for 2 weeks to visit family in the Netherlands and see Italy. Before leaving I ordered up lips, and during my visit I picked up some goods :D:
http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee305/dutchy_623/DSC_0006.jpg
Picked up, euro headlights, grills, plate filler, trims, and some dutch plates.
Got back and assembled the wheels and had to test fit:
http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee305/dutchy_623/teaserrr.jpg
http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee305/dutchy_623/testfit.jpg
Spec's are 15x9 et 8 and 15x9.5 et 1
Installed the GC's on some shit shocks that I will likely replace after I get pissed off with my now really crappy ride:
http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee305/dutchy_623/GCs.jpg
Ended up welding the struts to high, bottomed out i'm just tucking tire up front, i'm not impressed to say the least. So I will weld up another set of struts sometime soon and fix that.
Thats pretty much where i'm at right now, going to a euro car show tomorrow and hopefully mounting tires too, so updated pics will come for sure if that happens. If not as soon as it does.

So I test fitted 195/55R15's up front and out back on the 9's. Decided to go with a 205/50 out back and 195/50 up front. Back is coming down about a half inch ( was almost sitting on the tire with the 195 on the 9 :D ) and the front is coming down a good inch to two inches.
Going to do work and get another set of struts welded up and in the car asap.

The fronts are as rolled as flat as anything. The rears will likely require some cut-off wheel action and some welding.
Currently talking over a 2.7 stroker motor/paint engine/paint car idea with my buddy.

Tires are coming in tomrrow morning, mounting them tomorrow after work.
Also started on modfying another set of struts, just need to weld on a new seat for the coilover sleeve.
I rolled the fenders front and back. Also pulled the front fender liners.
Now just need a stiffer spring for the rear and it should be good to go.

So new tires were fitted today, 205/50 out back, 195/50 up front. fronts were perfect, rears are too big. The tires didn't stretch like I thought they would.
Now I am widening the rear fenders by about a half inch, which means I will be painting the whole car. I need to do more work on it and then start prepping for paint.
Will have some pictures tomorrow.

I know I know I need to post pictures. I've been waiting on springs for the rear to bring it down. The springs are so soft right now that I have the rear jacked and it still rubs :(
I have been working on the car, pulled everything from the trunk and rust proofed it, pull half of the interior in preperation for the rust proofing/paint/carpet swap.
I'm going to start prepping the hood, fenders, doors, trunk, bumpers, mirrors, and front valance throughout this week as I have spares to throw on the car for the meantime.
The rear fenders are getting there, need to cut some more on the drivers side and they will be about ready for some bodywork.
Here's a crappy shot to hold you guys off a bit.

Plans have been set to shoot paint on June 27th.
Hopefully I can have it all preped and ready to go by then. With the euro conversion being done, it should look plenty legit once put back together. Springs are finally on order after some decision making.
Here's a few I took tonight, not to impressed with the pictures, or the stance. But as it sits there I rub like crazy in the rear. The front struts are almost ready to be swapped in.

The effect comes more from the photo editing then the paint. The paint was just normal paint sprayed a little to thin making it a little more flat then usual.
