Hahah. My friend did something quite similar with his moped when we were 14 or 15.. He lost just one fingertip though.

Shit happens. Sometimes you make a bad decision and pay for it dearly.
Reminds me of the time I decided inching up my e34, hanging half way out of the car, operating the clutch with the right foot was a good idea ... let's just say I ended up running over a jackstand, a jack, creeper, and half a billion tools, while ripping the shift knob clean off and throwing it in the back seat in an attempt to stop the car. Needless to say I ended up in a ditch, teetering. Took 4 people and 1 driver to push the car back out. Thankfully nothing aside from my pride was damaged or injured.

Was thinking the same. I can stand gore, that's not the problem. It's just...I don't like viewing other people slaughtering themselves.
Back in 2003 I "dared" watching that first kidnapped guy in Iraq getting beheaded.
My curiousty got the best of me, but that was truly awefull to watch.

fuuuuuck... that sucks... his life is never going to be the same...
and i read some of the comments where people were making fun of him and stuff... and i mean, shit its not like he doesn't realize how dumb it was, hes the one that's without fingers... people amaze me sometimes with how inconsiderate they can be, not matter how retarded he was in the situation....

1. goes to clean motorcycle, puts it on a motorcycle jack
2. turns it on. lets it idle.
3. proceeds to use wd40 and a rag to clean chain
4 ??????
5. made a thread about it

Ok I looked. Not that graphic, yet nasty. What I don't understand though, when I idle my bike, the chain doesn't run. He doesn't mention he gave it some throttle or anything to spin up the chain.
Well, some people do have to learn the hardway. What a price to pay for some quick cleaning.

He lifted the wheel off the ground and let it idle in first. Thats how he got the chain to spin

I see. Wouldn't have guessed the chain had enough speed to do this. Then again, sprockets can be razor sharp.
Guy's just 21. Damn.
