Nice thread, but older Lancias were made in lower volumes than the larger car companies and did not stand the test of time very well, so there's not many left around. Nevetheless they had innovative ideas the great racing heritage

delta S4 is the beest
Fixed that for ya ;)

The Integrale was definitely the best group a car, but the likes of the 037 and S4 were so much more raw and insane given the time they were from. The 037 for example beat the Audi team and became the last 2wd WRC champion with a 325hp carbureted and supercharged 2 liter. Maybe that doesn't sound like much of a feat, but to me (an avid group b and rally fan) that is nothing short of incredible, especially considering the short development time and early "teething" problems of the 037. I often wonder what would have become of the S4 (and WRC in general) if group b hadn't been banned :(
