LM reps make babies cry :(
Why is this? :devillook
I had a blob eye subaru that actually did make my mates baby cry, think it was a bit loud for him na ha ha!
Anyway i bought the LM's now, what tires do i need for a nice stretch but nothing too major as you all know UK roads are Gah.
8x18 F &
9x18 R
I'm thinking 215/35 or 40 F &
225/35 or 40 R
What your thoughts?

thats not stretch, thats pansy stuff :P
I run 205 40s on my 16x9s, and thats nothing too major. Ill find a pic for you, maybe 205s on the front and 215s on the back for you if you think mines too much??

Oh your right thats not too much is it?
Well i cant afford them with christmas so im having my tyres swapped over from my S-Line rims which are unfortunatley 235/40/18 but in prob feb i think ill go with the setup you mention above.
Your Wheels are pretty tidy btw.

I run a 205/40 on a 17x9 and 195/45 on a 17x8
And because fake splits suck :( shouldn't have given into to it and held out for a set of genuine splits or single pieces.

i will upgrade next year anyway but i needed something as im very impatient, fake splits arn't that bad, no one can tell at 50mph.
Have you seen how much real splits cost? It would be fine if i didn't have a thousand other outgoings.

I prob will but there still really expensive for 19" and there usually fooked. Plus roads are far from great near me and if I spend £1500 and f*ck em I'd be gutted.

I guarentee you could've got a set of real splits for less than you brought the reps, just didn't look I guess

I think its just that i dont know where to look, i spent a week solid on ebay, ebay.de, audi sport, UK Audi's, R32OC, VWAudi forum, Amazon, Wheel Whores, I could not find anything, if there is other places to look i would genuinely love to know because i was racking my brain and just did not know where else to go.
I would love a real set, now im thinking of 19" you guys are bad for my wallet. :-)

Real LMs - yeah they might be hard to find.
I have 2 sets of BBS splits now though, both together probably cost me less than the LM reps I bet :P

maybe, I paid £405 for staggered 18" LM Reps, i dont think ill ever find real LM's for anywhere near that, maybe a set of splits but i wanted Lm's for now anyway.
Do you just use eBay?

I paid £405 for staggered 18" LM Reps,
That is wild buddy, i have a mate that bought them from a shop on ebay for £250 brand new!
I have REAL BBS SPLITS on my E36, i was not getting drawing in with the price of the cheap looking fakes out there.. just because they cost way less!
At the end of the day i recon it only makes you look silly by it letting people know
"i real wanted the real deal but i cant afford it so i settled for fakes"
Beter to save and wait till you can afford them than buy fakes IMO!
Thats why the standerd of modding in this country is not on par with most others because people attempt to mod cars with penuts and expect it to win shows and get mag features
(This is not directed at you buddy in anyway im just meaning in genral so please dont think i mean you)
I come on here and see cars that have had loads of time and love put in to them and i wish the hole of the UK modding scene could be like this and car shows would be a pleasure to attend no matter if it was a Max Power or Fast Car event, Because you would then know you are going to be in for a treat looking at the great range of motors on show unlike most of the crap we are subjected to!

I see what your saying but as far as I'm concerned I won't be paying full price for wheels that will be ruined by sh*te UK roads in a matter of months so I bought fakes, I'm not after winning shows I only care weather I like them or not and I do.
I know alot of people will cheddar up there cars then parade it around like everyone is supposed to blown away but thats not the case for me.
I wish I'd payed £200 for reps though :-(
Could be worse, they could be fox Ha ha!

I'm hoping that hellaflush uk isnt just a maxpower chav fest, that would be sooo dire. We need something fresh over here.

its possible mate, a sit load of Corsa B's with cut springs and astra alloys ha ha.
I kid but i hope not too.
from what i hear hellaflush uk is application only, that way it filters out all the chav chariots!

Up here in scotland, There is not any good shows/cruise's what so ever
I have been to alot with the Bmw forums i am on but they are car spacific shows or somtimes classic car shows..
Which are not to shabby atall,
Mainly because of the lack of good shows i go to alot of classic shows with my dad as he owns a 1975Ford Escort RS2000 completely original with 47k on the clock which is a show winning machine lol
But to be honest it does anoy me the lack of good quality cars in scotland which brings down the standerd of shows, as i would love to show my car regularly over the summer but have to travel to england and even to belgium ive been invited to this comming year by a mate from down south that attends alot of euro styled shows over there just to attend a good show that the quality of cars is up there with the best of them..

Scotland has some of the sickest cars in the UK, what you on about :P Everytime i look in fast car or maxpower they're full of scot rides or cruises...
Haha, anyway, Hellaflushuk, i think it is application, like you turn up the day before and get a decision on if your in the main arena or on the edge etc, and the rest will just be a free carpark showing kind of thing.

Your standerd of "Sick Ride" must be alot lower than mines then bud lolol because belive me i stay bang right in the center of where most of the "Sick Rides" get scouted from for max power and such like..
Crail Max power, Fast car events is only 10 mins from my house and believe me nearly 99% of these Max'd motors dont deserve an M.O.T never mind a feature lol
and as for cruises alot of pictures are from EK cruise, Strathy Cruise Etc and that the exact same apart from the od Evo or Skyline wid i will admit do deserve some credit for a clean example but they are only standerd thats been well kept with the boost turned up, FMIC and a chatter valve.. Give it a bit flame as you come and go the cruise your sorted for folks attention.
Not my sort of Sick ride.. not alot of thought put in to that nor work lets be honest!
If the kitted cars that go about where to a high standerd weather it was to my taste or not you could appreciate the work thats gone in but they just are not up to scratch.
I have a mate that attends world wide shows and comes home with silverware that has a Pug 106GTi that has arch extentions and such like but its been that nicely done and is very subtle, its is a lovely car and he deservs the attention the car gets.. So its not dont to me totaly not liking all modded hot hatchs because that is not the case i would give credit where its due..
