So as some of you may know I am restoring a 2002. I have been up the last few hours looking at pics and searching for wheels and I am out of ideas. So post up some wheels that will look good on an 02. The car will be white and on coil overs. Im not really a wheel whore and need some expertise. Thanks in advance. Also wheel must me available in 4x100.

RS's would look sick, WRD's would probably look sick, But I dunno if they are in 4x100 or not

What's the "look" you're going for? Modular or single piece?
These:

15x8 ET0 for 200 bucks... can't beat it.
Gangster widened E21 Steelies:

I always liked my old MiM 1900s:

15x7 ET13 Would look killer on a deuce with a 10mm spacer probably. I have extra custom center caps for these if you can find a set. Sadly I sold mine last year.

I'll give you the caps if you can find a set of wheels.

Check out www.felgen-garage.de they can build 15" RSs in almost any width, offset, colour, finish etc.
Schieldrop
09-17-2009, 12:57 PM
RMs are also 15" and they go cheaper than RSs in the UK, and are almost as good looking as RSs. Plenty of them for sale at wheel-whores almsot constantly.

09-17-2009, 01:23 PM
Yeah I am thinking 15s or 16s and RS's are at the top of my list, but everything is rolling on rs's. I would love to find something rare since I have a while before the car is done.

16" will be too big for an 02 if you ask me.
Also if you have a budget that isnt too tight compomotive make modular wheels in every size an width imaginable. Felgen-garage also has OZ Turbos in various 15" setups.
And they really do look GOOOOOD on an 02.

Yea I am leaning toward 15s but a certain stance expert has almost convinced me on 16s.
Oh and MOTHER OF GOD.

I'm with Sean! 16"s can look good if you have the turbo flares, but I'd go for the 8.5x15 OZs any day of the week.

Def not going with flares, they wont work with the look I am going for. So far the OZs are the front runners, but keep them coming. I am not a wheel whore by any means, although I will have oz futruras on my 7 before I die.

slim and less than probable.
Do 16's. If I didn't have my ronal mags and a set of 15 RS that I need to build; I'd be doing 16s.

09-17-2009, 02:32 PM
Im still not sold on 16s I think they will look WAY too big. I mean the car had 13's factory. Whatever I get I want to refurbish them myself, I know a thing or two about polishing aluminum.
Schieldrop
09-17-2009, 02:33 PM
Try wheel whores. Saw some there recently that needed only a quick refurb to be mint. If you do eventually go for 16"s I recommend deeeep dishes to slim down the height of the wheels.

Oh yeah... sure, polish a plane and think you can do wheels now?

The car is going to be super simple. A gold center is about as crazy as ill go. That being said the turbos are the winners.......... I think.

I haven't seen the HREs in the size and bolt pattern that you have requested, but it seems to be a moot point anyway, since you are going to buy OZ Turbos. If not, then I will be forced to tell you that you look like a dandelion, and I'm going to burn you.
