View Full Version : Adapter thickness? (Calling MK4 VW guys)

My buddy has a MK4 Jetta GLI VR6, and got S4 wheels. We know that the adapters have to be 5x100 to 5x112. He says they come in 20mm, 25mm, and 30mm thicknesses, and is not sure what to get. He says the stock (17") wheels are 35mm offset, and the S4 wheels are 45mm offset. I said he needs the 20mm ones, but I figure I would ask, just to be safe. Thanks.

The stock ones are 7.5", and he claims the S4 wheels are 8". I have no idea if this is true, just what he told me.

how does he want them to fit? poked, tucked, etc.

Flush, at most. He doesn't dig the poke thing, but doesnt want them tucking, either.

IMO 20's n 25's

has anyone mentioned to you to LMK when he decides to buy them as mine are considerably cheaper than anyone else.
