Don't think leaks are just leaks:

I've had new barrels on order for a few weeks now. Shipped finally on Monday. The crack is almost 3/8ths around the entire circumference of the barrel. It happened on the way to BimmerFest. Good thing we called it quits on the wheel right after the show.

Not a pothole. A previous repair on a 20 year old racing barrel. I think camber finally did it in.

I've heard if you get stone between tyre & lip (as you can with strech..) then lip is in BIG danger to crack.. but it allways depends whose lips you are using (RH, BBS, OZ) of course there is some quality issues from cheap aluminium lips..

but thank god that you didn't go like 120mph while busting that rims a part would be K18 material..

E21 doesn't exactly inspire you to drive faster and faster.

That is crazy!

No, it's low enough. But it's definitely approaching terminal velocity.

Confidence most likely. You've seen pictures of my oil pan. At 120 I think a small bump might cause problems.

I've got gear, just not enough testicle.

looks like they could have been overtorqued if they had been taken apart. Scary though and glad it didnt decide to fall apart while driving!!
