  • Very Bouncy Ride

Just installed a ebay sleeve with qa1 spring 350lb 7in on some kyb agx struts in the front of my b15 sentra...and the ride is very bouncy. The coils arent as low as they can. I was wondering if a 8in spring 250lb would get rid of the bounce..or do i need a stiffer spring..

When im driving on the highway its a constant bounce..or if i go over speed bump it bounces 2-3 times before it settles back to normal..other than that the ride is pretty decent.

You need a softer spring, or firmer dampers.

okay so you think the 8in 250lb spring would be fine? or should i stick with the 7in. I called ksport and asked what size spring was ran on my car and they 8in and the rates for the in the front are 336lb.. I figured the softer the spring the more bounce would occur

IMO, your struts might be out or need firmer damping as it bounces 2-3 times..

you gotta pick shortened shocks, the bouncing is when the springs are much shorter that the shocks. So now actually you're driving only on shocks, the springs don't play at all...

If the springs are too stiff for the dampers, no amount of travel will stop the bouncing.

so your saying a softer spring will help? same length or longer? shorter?

                          Buy stiffer shocks.
