top mount help

Hi guys, I troll a lot around here but I try keeping my post count to a minimum but I had to make this thread to ask you guys some advice about the top mounts of my coilovers. I know not many of you know a lot about Fiat Puntos but top mounts are still top mounts.

Here's the situation, I fitted my FK coilovers and this is what I noticed:




Is there any way to fix this? The nut can't be tightened any more because it already sits on the nut below it. (oh and Puntos don't have those 2 screws on the top mounts like other cars despite the 2 holes there)
Help pls?

What does the nut below hold?

it holds the bearing and the rubber top mount on which rests the car
