Ok so i had my e46 since april and ive always wanted to throw some coils on it and stance it out but i was thinking about just getting a new car. I changed my mind and i am gonna be keeping my e46 and just make it into one of the illest stanced out e46's you ever seen. This is only suspension related and i just need some suggestions on wheel fitment and how low of a drop i should do and what brand. I was thinking a 215/40/18 8" +20 with a 2 inch drop all round. Respectable?? Thanks.

Start by looking around here a bit. Wow.

a) 215 on an 8" will not let you be (wheel) flush
b) 8" +20 is baby-weak
c) 2" drop is baby-weak

its all research and trial and error.

for coilovers, the best bet is KW V1, 2, or 3 on your E46. best combination of price/drop/quality really.
