E39 M sport V8 coilover help.

My friend is gonna purchase some coilovers soon to put his E39 down. We would prefer to do the work ourselves but i only have knowledge of the E36 and would rather have a browse of a D.I.Y before starting this work.

Does anyone have any links or info that could help?

The e39 is a pain when it comes to suspension ...does he have stock shocks? If so he might want to invest in some shocks before goin lower ..from personal experience the ride on stock shocks and lowered coils is not a BMW one ..it handles nice but I like the smooth feeling bimmers are known for ..so also the regulars bimmerforums.bimmerwerkz.etc..gl
