Looks like its coming along nicely.

It reminds me of miswesta's brother's S2K (the yellow one w/ the silver Enkei's) that was on hellaflush not too long ago (Stretch vs. Meat) that can be seen here: http://fatlace.com/hellaflush/theflushness/stretch-vs-meat-s2k-battle.html

Thanks guys. there are some more goodies coming in for the car as well next week. I wanted to put the custom shaved ap1 bumper on it, but customer didn't wanna pony up for it so they stuck with the ap2 bumper which still looks good.

yes not spa yellow. the factory yellow is hidious on s2k's. Now if it was py then it would probably stay factory color. This color will be a custom mixed yellow that no one else will have.

on a side not...just got a brand new factory lip for the car so the car has been updated to have ap2 headlights, front bumper, factory lip and ap2 taillights. front wheels should be back together wed and possibly some paint laid down too. Owner has a set of 25mm spacers and I am going to have him pick up another set as well.

Wheels will look good. Racing heart c2 3 piece...I have a feeling they will be temparary. They are 18x8 and 18x9.5 rears with 225/40 with 25mm spacers all around...eventually car will prob get 18x9/10.5 or somewhere around there to compltely fill out the arches

Flavourless
09-02-2009, 04:08 PM
Its actually a customers car, not mine. The customer didn't want to pull the motor and completley gut the car to do a full color change correctly. We won't just do an exterior color change as its not the correct way to do it and the car has our name on it for life. We(JMI) have worked hard to get where we are at today and we don't do anything half assed. The car is his daily driver and yellow was ok for him. We wanted to do a brighter color but after playing with many different colors it just didn't look right with how orange the underhood color. We ended up going with Phoenix Yellow from the type r and it looks amazing.

Flavourless
09-02-2009, 04:12 PM
Personally I think the car would have looked horrible orange but then again I **** orange cars and I think the only car that can pull off orange is gt3rs

i know the car needs spacers bad, once its aligned and the customer gets some miles on it i can play with spacers and get it dialed.

Dam ur next project looks sick, hey sry to be off topic but is a good way to measure how much of a spacer you could use? Thanks

Flavourless
09-09-2009, 11:45 PM
Next project will be all sorts of win :devil

Its hard to say with out seing a picture but u could measure from your sidewall to the inside lip of your fender or quarter. Depends on so many variables. How low are u? Are u tucking tire? If so how much? Do u have wheel gap? Are u planning on lowering your car more? are going to roll the fenders? u going to be stretching a tire? If so how much? How much negative camber are you or are you going to be running. All of these effect what size spacer u can run. There is no definative answer as u can tell.

For my bmw I measured what the maximum amount of room I had and then came in like 8mm less so I had enough clearance to turn (as I am tucking tire) and then the rear I measured max and did 5mm less cause I don't have to worry about turning.

Thanks man, once I get my new wheels and have them on I'll try and get some pics and more specs so I can give you some info. Guess I'll just have to do some testing probly. Dont know if you can tell us but what are the plans for the rsx?
