well, it was a box of x-acto blades. i would have a pic for you...but my cf card is randomly broken and doesn't work in my computer nor camera anymore...damn.

the dark bottom half is the sharp side with the points out of frame of the bottom of the photo and where the top half changes color half way is a change in angle of the non-sharp side of the blades.

i think some of the "dusty" look is also due to the reflection of the concrete on the shiny black paint. cool shot

Its all reflection of concrete on the shiny paint.


When I first looked at the pics I was like Oh fuck, I have to reshoot this guy, then I looked closer and saw what it was and how the lighting was actually right on and was like oh yea. I was bouncing the light off the wall at an upward angle and then it was bouncing from there off the ceiling. Really cool effect.
