  • The Oil Pan Thread

Well, this section is about getting the most out of your suspension. How about a thread where the suspension gets the most out of you?

I just had my first oil pan incident. I didn't destroy it, but I have a 3" hairline crack. I just lathered it up with some JB Weld... we'll see how she holds up. I'll have a pic up in a bit.

So, how about you guys? Austin has like 3 hanging on his wall.

The cooling fins on the bottom of my pan are gone... That is all. But my 3" exhaust, now that's a different story. It's becoming more like a < 2.6" exhaust every day...

                You'll wear through it eventually.

I'm not even all that low and I'm slowly chipping (literally) away at my lower oilpan. My drive way is pretty serious.

It's time you post good pics of your driveway.

I've just got dents in my down pipes from my driveway, along with a worn down tranny brace.

The real killer are the ruts that trucks make, those will eat anything under your car alive.

Yup, thats what finished off the cross brace on my car. I'm sure I've done some good damage to the new one as well. Makes cool noises and sparks though ahahah

I'm not that low to be tearing up my oil pan. But I am low enough to rip up my tires with my fenders. It sounds like the devil passing gas...

My oil pan hasnt taken any hits yet. My swaybar however... I drag that on the crowns on some roads.
