StanceWorks was created back in May of 2009, with the sole purpose of developing a community based around a lifestyle. Our motto, “low is a lifestyle” was formed out of a necessity to define what we are about. It is all-encompassing, not only pertaining to the automobiles we drive, but the way in which we live on a daily basis.
A lifestyle is only defined by those who are involved. Three people have come together to create a community where driving as close to terra firma is the only rule. StanceWorks provides an online locale for like minded Stance individuals to come together and exchange ideas, thoughts and friendship. The three originators of StanceWorks:
Mike Burroughs – As a photographer and car builder, Mike has turned the Stance world on its ear by continually producing quality, and sometimes controversial cars and still life’s. Mike has had many of his cars and photographs published in the U.S. and abroad.
Ben Terry – Is the focal point for new product development and community relations. Ben works hard to guarantee that StanceWorks brings only the best partners into the community, which continually improves the quality of the online experience and the access for all StanceWorks members.
Nic Foster – As a mechanical engineer by trade, Nic is determined to define, explore and solve community needs as it relates to Stance.
Other Staff:
Rory Semple - The one and only IT administrator and security expert on StanceWorks, Rory enjoys coding and stance. He aids the entire StanceWorks team ensuring that the community as a whole has the best experience possible, while maintaining, constantly updating and adding to the site.
Andrew Ritter – Is the Art Director and heads the Soft Goods department of StanceWorks. His job is to guide the aesthetic direction of StanceWorks and supply its users with a meaningful experience through quality Soft Goods.
