There are some that suggest that Porsche’s 924 isn’t worthy of the crest. Luckily for them, this 924 GTR isn’t sporting one. On the other hand, this GTR suggests they couldn’t be more wrong. As Porsche’s counterpart to the 908 for the 1980 24 Hours of Le Mans, the GTR houses a 375-horsepower inline-four. Having finished in 6th place, it didn’t do too poorly, either. We crossed paths with one of the few GTRs built at this year’s Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion at Laguna Seca. I couldn’t help but enjoy the details, and now they’re here to share.
