In our first StanceWorks Aesthetics, I documented the Porsche 917K, so it made sense to go back even further and explore the elegant lines that gave rise to the 917. The Porsche 907 was first released at the 1967 24 Hours of LeMans and with it, Porsche hoped to capture the World Sportscar Championship. This particular 1968 Porsche 907K , chassis number 024, was driven to a first place finish in the 1968 12 Hours of Sebring by Jo Siffert and Hans Hermann. 46 years later, I found it sitting in Florida once again, but this time it was entered in the Amelia Island Concours. I took a few moments as the sun rose over the golf course to capture some of the intriguing elements and stunning body lines of the Porsche 907-024.
